Join Us in Empowering the Next Generation of Engineers
At UIC, the Women in Engineering Programs (WIEP) are dedicated to building a vibrant, inclusive community where women and non-binary students in engineering can thrive. Every outreach activity, mentoring circle, workshop, and summer program we offer is designed to ignite curiosity, strengthen skills, and open doors to meaningful futures in STEM.
This work is only possible through the support of our partners — industry leaders, alumni, and the UIC community — who believe in the power of opportunity. Together, we create spaces where students feel seen, supported, and inspired to lead.
Ways to Support:
- Invest in Students
Your financial gifts fund scholarships, hands-on learning programs, and initiatives that break barriers for aspiring engineers and computer scientists.

Together, we can shape a future where every student has the support they need to build, innovate, and lead.
If we encourage women to become engineers, we include a large segment of the population and the diversity of ideas they bring.
