Alpha Omega Epsilon – Gamma Zeta Chapter at UIC is a professional and social sorority for women in STEM that focuses on the principles of friendship, leadership and professionalism.
At UIC, our chapter is a close-knit community of women supporting each other academically and personally. We host social events, professional workshops, and networking opportunities, while also engaging in outreach and campus collaborations to promote diversity and inclusion in STEM.
At a large, commuter-heavy university like UIC, it can sometimes feel difficult to find a true sense of community. That’s where ΑΩΕ makes a difference. We provide a supportive space where women can connect, share experiences, and build meaningful relationships, creating an environment where women in engineering can thrive, develop leadership skills, and form lifelong friendships.
